     Ethan Mellen was born on 7 February 1917 at Plymouth, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin.3,4,5,6 He was the son of Sidney Allen Mellen and Jessie Mae Green.2 He and Laura Brink celebrated 14 May 1935 as their wedding date.3 Ethan actually married Laura, daughter of Victor Hathaway Brink and Ruth Isabella Goodrich, on 27 December 1935 at Port Dickinson, Broome County, New York.7 He died on 18 August 1981 at Wilson Hospital, Johnson City, New York, at age 64.3
     Ethan Mellen's full name was Ethan Allen Mellen.
     Ethan and Laura had two other children who are still living as of 10 June 2011.
